Science concept cards

Science concept cards:

Each student draws a card containing the name of a relevant scientific concept e.g., photosynthesis, carbohydrates etc.
Then they mingle between each other, making connections.
When a partner is found they explain the concept on the partner’s card.
If necessary, the person holding the card corrects any misconceptions on the part of the partner.
This can continue as long as it is deemed relevant.
The exercise can be used as a warm-up or repetition, and the concepts be tailored to the situation.

Tools: Card/paper and markers.
