A quiz is a type of game that tests students' acquired knowledge and information in short time intervals. It may be used to keep track of students' progress and identify knowledge gaps. Examples of quiz questions may span from fill-in-the-gap and multiple to true or false questions. Quizzes can also be combined with interactive visualizations such as pictures and videos to describe the topic or problem in a vivid way.
There are many websites available that offer quiz libraries and/or provide free tools that enable teachers to create their own quizzes, for example: Kahoot!, Nearpod, survey makers, Socrative and many more.
