Game-based learning

GBL or game-based learning is defined as as an umbrella term that encompasses the use of serious games, gamification and playful learning activities to denote a student-centred and creativity-orientated strategy. Collaborative and social in its foundation GBL amalgamates constructivist learning theory and game elements, embracing learning spaces for practicing creative thinking, autonomy and empathy, situative learning, inquiry and resilience.
