Tools are helpful instruments for teaching. They offer many possibilities to actively involve the students in the lessons and let them experience the contents of the lessons themselves. Free tools such as Kahoot, LearningApps or Quizlet serve in a creative and playful way as additional teaching aids to activate previous knowledge, to check knowledge, to secure the acquired knowledge and skills and/or to increase the motivation of the students.
