Learning Experiences

A learning experience refers to any interactions that takes place in a learning environment such as a classroom, lab, library, virtual learning environment, game, museum that may result into learning either through formal learning channels (curriculum) or informal learning channels (online tutorials, Open courses, unstructured content, no learning outcomes). The broad use of learning experiences by teachers and academics denote the different and diverse ways that students may learn through using different modes, resources and technology that suits their own ways of learning.

The design of learning experiences sought to consider rich-mediated representations of learning and teaching through using student-centred approaches to teaching with the use of technology, multimodal content using visuals, audio, haptic and other forms of interactive semiotic modes to help learners to understand, reflect and transfer their learning to real-world experiences.
